Synopsis:
Electronic warfare (EW) is warfare involving the use of the electromagnetic spectrum (EM spectrum) or directed energy to control the spectrum, attack an enemy, or impede enemy operations. The purpose of EW is to deny the opponent the advantage of, and ensure friendly unimpeded access to the EM spectrum
This course covers the radio frequency aspects of electronic warfare at the system level. The course will cover the important aspects of Electronic Support (ES), Electronic Protection (EP) and Electronic Attack (EA). The war in Ukraine and Gaza has served stark reminders on the importance of the security of military communications which consequences could lead to existential outcomes. This course aims to provide a solid foundation for users of military communications who has a need to master their craft to the fullest. This course also serves to equip them with adequate know-how to stay ahead of their potential adversaries in this perpetual cat and mouse game of electronic warfare.
Target Audience:
This course is designed for persons who wish to acquire a basic working knowledge in Electronic Warfare. The course will be beneficial to people working in EW, radar and communications. At the conclusion of the course, the attendee will have a good grasp of the fundamentals of EW with the ability to make general level calculations.
