Synopsis: 

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) are now used to support many activities in the modern societies. Fueling growth in applications will be the new generation GNSS that are currently being developed and deployed. In addition, a number of Space Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) and Regional Navigation Satellite Systems (RNSS) will add extra satellites and signals to the multi-constellation GNSS/RNSS mix. How will this proliferation of satellites and signals impact the spatial information discipline? Is the performance of multi-constellations receivers desirable? The course instructor will present the latest GNSS technologies and to discuss the future of GNSS with insights that comes with his 40 years work experience in this area.
